BloqUV UPF 50+ men’s and women’s sun protection sleeves provide sun protection from mid-bicep to hands when wearing short sleeves or non-UPF long sleeve shirts. Designed for athletic and routine activities with prolonged sun exposure. Perfect SPF arm covers for driving, tennis, golf, running, walking, boating, fishing, biking, hiking, horseback riding, gardening, driving, flying, construction and travel. It is sold in pairs. It features thumb holes for hand protection and silicone grippers around the bicep area to help hold in place. Our fabric, BloqTek™, is exclusive to BloqUV. It’s UPF protection never washes out and provides 5 degrees cooling effect when wet with water or sweat. BloqUV is proud to have earned The Skin Cancer Foundation's Seal of Recommendation for our UPF 50+ fabric. Our fabric is tested in accordance with AATCC TM 183 to ensure the UPF 50+ protection is as stated and recommended by The Skin Cancer Foundation. Our UV lab tested fabric blocks 98% UVA/UVB rays. UPF is equivalent in ratings and capabilities to SPF for sunscreens. An average white cotton white top only has UPF of 5. Our BloqTek™ fabric is free of BPA and BPS toxins. BPA and BPS are two types of bisphenols, a group of chemicals with possible adverse effects on human health and environmental impact. Additional benefits of our fabric are moisture-wicking, quick-dry, soft, lightweight, 4-way stretch, shrink-resistant, antimicrobial for odor-resistant, flat seams for style, comfort, and durability.
